Lontar : Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi (ISSN: 2442-5109, E-ISSN: 2599-2104) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that explores critical and constructive inquiries into the wide range of fields of study in communication science. Although centered on communication, Lontar :  Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is open and welcomes the contribution of many disciplines and approaches that meet at a crossroads with communication studies. The type of writing is in the form of scientific articles based on the results of field research.
Lontar : Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi mulai terbit dengan ISSN ... Volume 1 No.1 (2015) dan terbit secara elektronik mulai Volume 2 No.1 (2016) dengan jumlah terbitan satu tahun 3 terbtian. Sejak terbit E-ISSn jurnal ini menerbitkan satu tahun 2 terbitan sejak Volume 5 no. 1 (2017).
