About the Journal

Lontar : Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi  (ISSN: 2442-5109; E-ISSN: 2599-2104) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published biannually in June and December. The journal is indexed in SINTA (Science and Technology Index – Indonesia), Google Scholar, GARUDA, and Dimensions, and is registered with Crossref to ensure DOI assignment for all published articles, enhancing visibility, accessibility, and citation tracking.

 

The journal promotes critical and constructive inquiries across diverse areas of communication studies. While centered on communication science, Lontar : Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi welcomes interdisciplinary contributions from related fields that intersect with media studies, cultural studies, digital communication, public relations, journalism, and other relevant domains.

 

Lontar : Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi publishes original scientific articles based on empirical research and scholarly analysis. It serves as an academic platform for disseminating research findings, theoretical developments, conceptual reflections, and critical analyses addressing contemporary communication issues at both national and international levels.
