About the Journal

LONTAR: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that explores critical and constructive inquiries into the wide range of fields of study in communication science. Although centered on communication, the LONTAR: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is open and welcomes the contribution of many disciplines and approaches that meet at a crossroads with communication studies. The type of writing is in the form of scientific articles based on the results of field research. This journal is intended as a medium of scientific study to communicate vision, reflection, conceptual thinking, research results, exciting experiences in the field, and critical analysis studies on contemporary communication issues.

LONTAR: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is dedicated to being a medium for scientific study where scholars, practitioners, and students can communicate their vision, reflect on their experiences, share research results, and engage in critical analysis of communication issues that shape our society.
