GENTLEWITHIN: PSIKOEDUKASI DIGITAL PERILAKU NON-SUICIDAL SELF-INJURY PADA REMAJA DAN DEWASA AWAL

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) merupakan tindakan yang dilakukan secara sengaja untuk melukai jaringan tubuh sendiri tanpa adanya niat bunuh diri. NSSI bisa disebabkan karena interaksi banyak faktor yang berhubungan dengan gangguan mental dan kondisi psikologis remaja dan dewasa awal. Kerentanan pada perilaku NSSI menunjukkan perlunya intervensi promotif sebagai pencegahan dini berupa psikoedukasi yang memanfaatkan teknologi sehingga dapat diakses di mana saja, terutama bagi remaja dan dewasa awal yang memiliki tingkat penggunaan ponsel pintar dan literasi digital yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas intervensi berbasis digital terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai NSSI pada remaja dan dewasa awal. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling. Paired sample t-test dilakukan pada 28 perempuan dan 12 laki-laki (N=40; M=17,4; SD=2,85). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai tes (t(39)= -6,18; p<0,001; Cohen’s d= -0,977; 95% CI [-37,2; -18,8]) antara periode pre-test dan post-test. Dengan demikian, intervensi promotif yang diberikan berupa konten di akun Instagram terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja dan dewasa awal tentang perilaku NSSI. Dalam praktiknya, akun Instagram @gentlewithin__ berhasil menjangkau lebih dari 200 akun. Jumlah jangkauan yang tinggi menunjukkan bahwa Instagram menjadi media yang potensial untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai program psikoedukasi.
