ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)

The Sawala Journal of State Administration is an Open Access journal that can be accessed for free on the Internet. However, the print and online publishing process does involve costs including those related to setting up and maintaining the publication infrastructure, routine operations of the journal, processing of manuscripts through peer-review, editing, publishing, maintenance of scientific records, and archiving.

To cover these costs, the journal relies on APC or also known as a Publication Fee of 500,000 (IDR) to authors per article so APC is mandatory. APC costs are very often borne by the organization that funds the research published in the article or by the institution where the author works or by the author himself.

Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Fee (APC) to cover the administrative and management costs of peer review, production of professional articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers in various places, in addition to other publishing functions.

There are no additional costs based on article length, numbers, or additional data. [Important 1: Before the paper is finally accepted, any prepayment or prepayment does not count any credit towards final acceptance for publication]

After the external review is completed if the paper is accepted for publication in the journal then the invoice for APC will be followed.

Based on the invoice the author must make payment for APC. [Important 2: There are no refunds for paid APC whether the article has been withdrawn, canceled, or deleted even before publication and after publication. Once a paper is reviewed and accepted even if it has been withdrawn, canceled, or deleted in the process and/or prior to publication, the paid APC is non-refundable].

Once a paper has been published and given a DOI even if it has been withdrawn, canceled, or deleted after publication, the paid APC is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals, cancellations, or deletions due to the author's failure to comply with the basic rules and ethics of publication. There are no exceptions to this rule.

NO SUBMISSION FEES
There is no submission fee for the Sawala Journal of State Administration, whether the article is rejected, reviewed, or accepted.

Please note that the Editorial Board of the Sawala Journal of State Administration will be very selective, only accepting articles based on scientific merit, research significance, research integrity, and adherence to journal style guidelines (APA).

The Editorial Board of the Sawala Journal of State Administration respects and promotes submissions from any author and contributor based on ability and research experience without considering race, ethnicity, nationality, nationality, gender, financial ability, or any narrow frame of reference.

Starting in 2019 in the first edition, if your paper is accepted for publication, you will be required to pay a 500,000 (IDR) for Article Publication Fee to cover the publication fee.
