Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Guided Discivery Learning terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa

Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design yaitu terdapat dua kelompok yang masing-masing dipilih secara random. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien tahun ajaran 2026/2027 sebanyak 30 siswa dan terbagi menjadi 2 kelas. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik Total Sampling, dengan menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi yang terbagi kedalam dua kelas (kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol). Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning lebih efektif dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students at the Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Guided Discovery Learning learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving ability using the Posttest-Only Control Design design, namely there are two groups, each of which is selected randomly. The population of this study is all 30 students of grade VII of the Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School in the 2026/2027 academic year and is divided into 2 classes. In this study, the sample was determined using the Total Sampling technique, using all members of the population divided into two classes (the experimental class and the control class). The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and mathematical problem-solving ability tests. The results of this study indicate that the Guided Discovery Learning learning model is more effective in influencing students' mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to the direct learning model.
