Dear Dr. at University

I hope that this email finds you well.

I am Supriyadi. The editor-in-chief of Jurnal Sistem dan Manajemen Industri (Journal System and Management of Industries), a journal on Industrial Engineering published by Universitas Serang Raya (Indonesia). Jurnal Sistem dan Manajemen Industri (Journal System and Management of Industries), registered with ISSN 2580-2887 (print), 2580-2895 (online), is a peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly periodical. Jurnal Sistem dan Manajemen Industri (Journal System and Management of Industries) publishes research papers, technical papers, conceptual papers, and case study reports. The journal promotes and communicates industrial systems and management advances to provide insights into challenges, problems, and solutions. The cost of publication in the journal content is still free (We charge a special publication fee for authors from our country).

On July 14, 2024, our Scopus application was rejected due to its low citation count and localized approach. As part of our ongoing efforts to diversify our authorship and fulfill the requirements for re-submission to Scopus, we invite the researchers to contribute their research as authors. Your background in SCM issues would be an invaluable addition to our journal, enhancing the quality and breadth of knowledge shared with our international audience.

Thank you for considering this invitation. We are excited about the potential of having someone with your qualifications and vision as part of our team. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for further discussion.

Best regards,

Supriyadi

Title: Jurnal Sistem dan Manajemen Industri

Publisher: Universitas Serang Raya

Dear Supriyadi Supriyadi,

The title mentioned above has been evaluated for inclusion in Scopus by the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB). The review of this title is now complete and the CSAB has advised to not accept the title for Scopus inclusion at the present time. For your information, the reviewer comments are copied below:

Due to its low citation count and localized approach, the journal fails to meet the requirements for inclusion in the Scopus database. To increase the journal's readership and impact, the editor-in-chief should further enrich the editorial board with active members from the international scientific community and invite them to contribute articles to the journal.

If in the future these comments are addressed, you may decide to submit a new application at any time after the following date: July 2026.
At that time, you will be required to upload a cover letter detailing how the above comments have been addressed. A full review will be conducted upon resubmission and having addressed all the abovementioned concerns will therefore not guarantee acceptance.

Finally, we strongly advise you to read through our FAQ:
Helping to improve the Scopus submission & success process for editors and publishers.
Practical information for journal editors can be found in our Role of an editor FAQ.

Yours sincerely,
