Penerapan Strategi Konflik Kognitif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Taruna Akademi Maritim Cirebon

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis antara kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan perkuliahan dengan strategi konflik kognitif dengan kelompok kontrol yang mendapatkan perkuliahan biasa. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalent Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa/taruna tingkat 1 Akademi Maritim Cirebon tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis antara taruna yang mendapatkan perkuliahan dengan strategi konflik kognitif dengan taruna yang mendapatkan perkuliahan biasa.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the improvement in mathematical understanding skills between experimental group who received lectures with cognitive conflict strategies and control group who received regular lectures. This research is a quasi-experimental type with a Non Equivalent Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The population in this research were all level 1 students of Akademi Maritim Cirebon for the 2020/2021 academic year. Sampling of 2 classes was taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed by using Mann-Whitney test. The result of this research is there is a difference of improvement in mathematical understanding skills between students who get lectures with cognitive conflict strategies with students who receive regular lectures.
