Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a crucial role in building sustainable and competitive organizations. In the context of modern organizations facing globalization challenges and rapidly changing markets, the ability to maintain competitiveness and sustainability heavily depends on effective human resource management. This study aims to examine the contribution of HRM in creating organizations capable of adapting to the dynamics of external and internal environments while enhancing their competitiveness. By adopting a theoretical approach focused on competency management, career development, and fostering a culture of innovation, this study identifies how appropriate HRM policies can support the achievement of an organization’s long-term objectives. Additionally, the challenges faced by HRM practitioners in implementing such policies are discussed, including environmental uncertainties and the need to balance short-term and long-term goals. Through an analysis of recent literature, this study concludes that HRM policies centered on employee skill development, fair reward systems, and adaptive leadership can enhance employees' perceptions of organizational sustainability and competitiveness. This research is expected to provide valuable insights for organizations in designing effective HRM strategies to achieve sustainable competitive advantages.
