Abstract

The culture of a nation's society has a vertical relationship to the quality of the nation. A person's high interest in literacy influences a person's insight, mentality and behavior. The Indonesian nation is a nation with a low level of literacy even though it has been 79 years since Indonesia became an independent country. There are many factors why literacy in Indonesian society has a low percentage. This problem must immediately receive serious attention not only from the government but from all of us. How can the discourse regarding interest in reading be implemented for generation Z? So this book review is an effort to build a culture of literacy and build the motivation of generation Z to become the best human beings who are beneficial to others. When literacy culture becomes a culture in Indonesia, it is not impossible that our nation will become a developed nation.
