MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN AKAN PENTINGNYA PENDIDIKAN SEJAK DINI DI KAMPUNG MONGGOR, DESA BATUBANTAR, KECAMATAN CIMANUK

Abstract

The reason for the many cases in the realm of life in Monggor Village, Batu Bantar Village, Cimanuk District is the lack of adequate human resources (HR). The developments in the era of globalization have not even been able to be implemented by the local community of Batu Bantar. Lagging behind in all aspects of life, especially in the field of education, limits academic and non-academic knowledge. Education, which should be able to open a window for exploration of the expression of each individual's views and experiences as a major milestone in development, is now conceptualized as a new paradigm that is indifferent to education.

Monggor village is the village that has the highest percentage of school dropouts in Batu Bantar village, Cimanuk subdistrict. This community service has a purpose increase awareness of the importance of education from an early age, especially in the field of education, so that it can help, encourage changes in views (Mind set) or open thinking about the important role of education for the survival of a more prosperous local community. This service uses a qualitative approach with methodsFGD (Focus Group Discussion)  Seminar, involving community leaders, presenters from lecturers, related agencies and of course students. To strengthen the data, this service also carried out observations through interviews using the SWOT analysis method (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunities dan Threats). Informants are used as data sources for the local community, such as RT, RW, Village Heads, Village Officials and related students who have dropped out of school.
