Abstract

Sindangheula Village is a village located in Pabuaran District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The distance traveled from the City Administration Center is 9 km, from the Pabuaran District Center 5 km, from the Capital City of Banten Province it is 9 km, and from DKI Jakarta it is 90 km. Most of the residents of Sindangheula Village work in the plantation and agriculture sectors. This is supported by local natural factors which are located on the slopes of Mount Karang. The land use pattern in Sindangheula Village is mostly intended for plantation land. One of the existing plantations is a papaya garden. Unfortunately, the results from this papaya garden are only sold without being processed or just enjoyed alone. Papaya in Sindangheula has enormous potential to be developed in order to improve and grow the economy of the village community. By utilizing the natural resources in Sindangheula Village, namely papaya trees, diversification is carried out to produce new products made from papaya. In this activity, participants were explained about how to process papaya into chips. Starting from the recipe used, the tools needed, the frying process to the packaging of the finished papaya chips. Through good and proper processing, processed products made from papaya can have a high selling value. The results of the diversification of processed papaya materials require attractive and safe packaging and so that they have added value when marketed
