Penelitian yang ini memfokuskan pada perkembangan budaya Korea di Indonesia akibat globalisasi media. Tahun 2010 hingga 2013 penyebaran drama Korea melalui media televisi tidak pelak sangat mempengaruhi masyarakat Indonesia. Pada akhirnya drama Korea kian menjadi populer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bisa untuk mendeskripsikan secara luas dan gambang tentang fenomena drama Korea yang berkembang menjadi budaya populer di Indonesia yang kemudian dikenal dengan budaya Hallyu. Hegemoni drama Korea di Indonesia mempengaruhi peningkatan ekonomi dan kunjungan wisata ke Korea. Dampak dari sektor pariwisata meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara yang datang untuk mengunjungi Korea. Semakin popular dan menyebarnya produk-produk khas Korea dari segi elektronik, kuliner, pakaian, peralatan, dan lain-lain. Citra dari Negara tersebut semakin membaik di mata dunia, identitas sudah sudah berhasil mereka sebarkan melalui budaya populernya.Downloads
