This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in the Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan (KEBAN) including authors, editors, peer-reviewers and publishers.

Code of Ethics for Journal Publications

Publication of articles in peer-reviewed Journals Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan (KEBAN)  is an important building block in the development of a coherent and respected knowledge network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the author and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on the ethical standards of conduct expected for all parties involved in the publishing act: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers and the public.

Publication decision

Editor-in-chief Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan (KEBAN) responsible for deciding which articles are submitted to the journal to be published. Decisions are based on the recommendations of members of the board of editors and journal journals. The journal complies with legal requirements that then apply regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editors confer on the editorial team and reviewers in making this decision.

 

No discrimination

Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts for intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts should not be used by editorial board members and reviewers in their own research.

 

Reviewer Tasks

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

The journal uses a double-blind review process. The reviewer advises the editor-in-chief in making editorial decisions. Editors-in-chief communicate with authors, as requested, and assist them in improving the quality of their research papers.

 

Speed

The editors of the journal are committed to providing timely reviews to authors. If the reviewer does not submit his report in time, the paper is immediately sent to another qualified reviewer.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Preferential information or ideas obtained through peer review should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest arising from competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with any author, company, or institution connected to the paper.

 

 

Author's Duties

Reporting standards

The author must present an accurate report on the work done as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurately represented in the newspaper. A paper should contain enough details and references to allow others to replicate the work wherever possible. False or deliberately inaccurate statements constitute unethical and unacceptable behavior.

 

Data Access and Retention

The author may be required to provide raw data with respect to the paper for editorial review. They must be prepared to provide such data within a reasonable time.

 

Originality and Plagiarism

The authors must ensure that they have written the original work in its entirety, and if the author has used the work and/or other people's words that this has been appropriately cited or cited. Papers found with such problems are automatically rejected and authors are strongly advised.

 

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

When a paper is submitted for possible publication, the submitting author makes a written statement that the paper has not been published because it is currently being published with another journal. Simultaneous submissions are considered unethical and therefore inadmissible.

 

Source Recognition

It takes a correct recognition of the work of others. Authors should cite publications that lead to the author's current research.

 

Paper Essays

Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the research reported in the manuscript. Appropriate authors have the responsibility to keep co-authors in the review process. If accepted, all authors are required to provide a signed statement that the research work is their original research work.

 

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscripts any other financial or substantive conflicts of interest that may be construed to affect the outcome or interpretation of their manuscripts. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.

 

Fundamental errors in published works

When an author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his self-published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper
