PENINGKATAN MINAT BACA MASYARAKAT DENGAN GIAT LITERASI MELALUI PERPUSTAKAAN KELILING

Abstract

Reading is the main thing in all aspects of education. The process of learning and digesting information that is part of education requires a high interest in reading. Community Service Activities (PkM) here aim to provide education, knowledge, information, and understanding to the wider community, especially senior high school students. In this digital era, people's interest in reading, especially students, seems to be lacking. To overcome this lack of interest in reading, we are trying to provide assistance to female students in Serang Regency, especially students from Madrasah Aliyah Al-Khairiyah in Pontang Village, Pontang District, Serang Regency. This activity is carried out once every 1 week for 1 month in collaboration between the Community Service Team, Pontang Village and the Serang Regency Library and Archives Service through a mobile library program. This mobile library was held to help increase public interest in reading, especially students in Pontang Village, Pontang District.
