Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the management of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of Tasikmalaya City in 2024. In this context, local government budget management is a critical factor in determining how well a region can meet the needs of its community. Using a literature review method, this study focuses on collecting data from various relevant sources, including official government documents, academic journals, and other supporting data related to the research subject. This method allows the researcher to gain a deep understanding of budget management policies and practices in Tasikmalaya City. The research results indicate that in the management of the 2023 Tasikmalaya City APBD, there was a special focus on allocating funds to programs that directly impact the community; this reflects the local government’s efforts to improve public welfare through the provision of better public services. These programs cover the sectors of education, health, infrastructure, and local economic empowerment, and by focusing on these programs, it is hoped that a positive impact on the quality of life for the community in Tasikmalaya City can be achieved.
