Upaya Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Kelompok Lansia dengan DM di Desa Langkap Kecamatan Kedungwuni Kabupaten Pekalongan

One of the threats of degenerative diseases to public health is diabetes. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body does not effectively use insulin. The prevalence of diabetes in the world in 2000 was 2.8% and it is predicted to increase to 4.4% in 2030. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to elderly groups with DM. The implementation of the activity begins with screening activities for elderly people who suffer from DM, found as many as 18 people with DM. Implementation of health education is given to the DM elderly group by providing material about DM disease and its treatment using the lecture-discussion method accompanied by a demonstration for 75 minutes. The results of the service showed that the participants' knowledge of diabetes mellitus increased from 6.56 to 8.22. The DM health education program for the elderly group of people with DM has been implemented and provides benefits for elderly people with DM so that they can improve their health

The trident of corruption eradication can be done through prosecution, prevention, and education. To prevent corruption, the community can play a role through various media of counseling and education, one of which is poetry. Poetry has its characteristics as part of the arts, so through poetry, the community can provide anti-corruption messages that are easily remembered and understood by the readers. However, today, there are not many people who can utilize poetry as one of the media for anti-corruption social campaigns, and determine the stages of a tactical and targeted social campaign by utilizing poetry. Based on these problems, an activity focusing on improving skills in creating anti-corruption poetry is needed. The purpose of this activity is to increase the awareness and skills of poets and poetry makers in the context of anti-corruption education. The method used in this activity was discussion and practicing making poetry with an anti-corruption theme. The result of this activity was that the participants were able to understand and produce anti-corruption poetry as one of the social campaign media that can be addressed to a predetermined target group.

Awal tahun 2020 ini, kita kagetkan dengan adanya penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Covid-19 dapat menular dari antar manusia, yaitu melalui kontak erat/droplet. Sehingga mengharuskan kita untuk hidup dengan tatanan hidup yang baru dengan kenormalan baru (New Normal). Fenomena ini merupakan hal yang luar biasa yang terjadi pada abad ini. Adanya Covid-19 ini berdampak buruk pada semua lini kehidupan manusia, tidak terkecuali pendidikan. Salah satunya yaitu merumahkan semua siswa. Hal tersebut tentu berdampak pada minimnya sarana pengembangan keterampilan siswa. Keterampilan merupakan salah satu kecakapan yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam melakukan suatu kegiatan tertentu cara terus menerus, karena keterampilan datang tidak dengan sendiri melainkan melalui latihan yang terprogram (kontinu). The existence of technological developments can help all aspects of human life, includ-ing for business person. One place that can be utilized is social media. Social Media has a great opportunity to help MSMEs as a marketing tool for their products to a wider scope and create business competition in today's digital era. However, there are also many business person who still cannot balance their business with the arrival of the digi-talization era, as happened with "Tahu Fantasi Kuy" and "Chancaroon" MSMEs. Both of them carry out promotions in a conventional way and with unattractive product photos, so that point become an inhibiting factor for the progress of their business. Sindangsuka Village has residents who run various businesses, such as animal husbandry, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. With the condition of Sindangsuka Village, which until now is experiencing water shortages, the business activities run by the village community are hampered and cannot be run optimally. The low population of productive age is a supporting factor for the lower number of business actors in the village. Since 2016, the BUMDes of Sindangsuka Village have been trying to develop their business units in order to improve the village economy, but they have not received full support from the residents. The Integrative KKN-PPM program was carried out in Sindangsuka Village from 11 July to 11 August 2023 with the aim of analyzing, identifying SWOT, formulating the best recommendations on BUMDes problems in the organizational sector. Training and mentoring is provided to BUMDes with the hope that BUMDes organizational values can be increased. Through this program, BUMDes can form an organizational roadmap, strengthen the functions of each part of its structure, and compile year-end reports.

This service is intended to assist and develop the capacity of the Pekanbaru City Election Supervisory Board in supervising the implementation of the general election so that it runs honestly and fairly. One of the obstacles was identified in monitoring is the lack of public participation in reporting election violations. This is thought to be due to the unavailability of easily accessible reporting media. Regarding these problems, this service team was created and submitted a prototype of an application for reporting election violations to Pekanbaru Bawaslu. This application can be accessed easily by the public and through this application the report as soon as it is sent can be immediately known by the Pekanbaru Bawaslu admin. This service is carried out by: 1) Making a prototype of a violation report application to Pekanbaru Bawaslu; 2) Disseminate the use of the Application to Pekanbaru Bawaslu and others; 3) Simulating the use of the Election Violation reporting application.

DTKS Verification Collaboration as the Practice of Strategic Communication by Handil Bakti Village Government

Community service activities carried out by students can be a form of collaboration to support Government programs, one of which is the verification and validation of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The main problem faced by the local government in managing DTKS is the lack of human resources and objectivity of officers, so the data obtained often does not match the criteria. The Handil Bakti Village initiated the collaboration for verification and validation of DTKS with students as one of the joint-student service programs in the local government. As a form of strategic communication, the local government takes steps starting from planning, situation analysis, target analysis, goal formulation, message framework preparation, message dissemination strategy, and measurement and evaluation. Students verify and validate DTKS by conducting interviews with recipients in 14 RTs. The results obtained are accurate and objective DTKS data following the criteria set by the government and students gain an understanding of DTKS data collection.

One keys to achieving learning objectives is designing meaningful learning for students. Meaningful learning is learning that can be related to students' daily lives. Based on the results of interviews with SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Malang, students felt that learning mathematics is not related to students' daily lives. Therefore, the team offers alternative meaningful learning solutions using an ethnomathematics approach. Ethnomatematics plays a role in connecting culture with mathematics. By using ethnomathematics it is hoped that students can also get to know their local culture and preserve regional culture, especially Malang. Implementation of community service activities through four stages, namely training teachers in exploring the culture of mathematical concepts, assisting in the development of ethnomathematics-based teaching materials, assisting in the implementation of ethnomathematics-based learning, and evaluating activities.

The problem of dirty water flooding in the Antapani Tengah Village environment is one of the environmental problems that often occurs in the city of Bandung. The dirty water flood that occurred in Antapani Tengah Village was due to dense housing, so that water absorption was decreasing because the catchment area was covered by buildings, the behavior of the community in disposing of garbage, and the lack of coordination between the community and related agencies regarding handling flood problems. The problem of flooding cannot be handled by one institution, therefore efforts should be made to find solutions to the problem through institutional collaboration. Village Community Institutions are government partners who have the duty to maintain and preserve the values of life based on mutual cooperation and kinship, containing the obligations of citizens regarding harmony, security and environmental comfort. The Community Partnership Program implemented aims to help solve environmental problems, namely by providing competency improvement through collaboration programs for LKD, with the aim that LKD is able to transmit knowledge to the community so that the community has the same knowledge, knows program planning, and is able to manage collaborative governance on how to manage collaboration in dealing with environmental problems, especially in handling flood problems and waste management.

The paper focuses on the application of Pemasaran Digital in Talita Care due to its potential abilities to help Talita Care reach its consumer, even after the pandemic is over. Given the pandemic conditions, the mentoring program is carried out online using Zoom media. Parenting in the digital era is a challenge for parents to be able to adapt so they can sort out the positive and negative influences of technological developments on their children. The use of gadgets by children causes various problems when parents lack understanding in parenting in the digital era. The aim of community service activities is to provide assistance to parents in RT 05, Cinangka-Depok Village. The activity method is through: 1) education and socialization and assistance in using gadgets; 2) socialization of the application and child-friendly features; 3) parenting assistance in the digital era. Community service activities will be carried out in August and September 2023. The results of the activities obtained from the pretest and posttest calculations are as follows: a) knowing the negative impact of gadgets previously 67% increased to 92%; b) knowing the positive impact of gadgets, previously 56% to 87%; c) knowing the difference in the influence of gadgets on early childhood and adolescence, previously 58% increased to 93%; d) knowing child-friendly gadget applications and features, previously 43% increased to 89%; d) knowing about parenting in the digital era previously 52% increased to 91%. There has been an increase in the knowledge of participants in community service.

Lolo Wano Village, located in the Tanarighu District in West Sumba is classified as a a critical water area, especially for domestic water supply. To address the critical of domestic water situation, the design of the domestic Water Provision System can utilize the water from Wee Tame Water Spring in the forest area at Lolo Wano Village. The method of the water provision for the society at Lolo Wano Village involves the pumping plant for water spring resources (El. +97,52 m) to the Reservoir 1 (El. +231,65 m) and then distributing it to the service area through a gravity flow system using transmissions pipes. The pump pipes are made of galvanized steel (GIV) with a diameter of 2.5 inches and a length of 681m. The transmission pipes are made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a diameter of 2,5 inches and a length of 1.428,52 m to Lokory Village and pipes with a diameter of 1,5 inches and length to 976 m long to Lolo Wano Village. The pumping plant requires a power of 10,188 kW and generates a starting current of 68,391 Amperes.

Education is considered a crucial factor in measuring a nation's progress and the morality of individuals and the state. Entrepreneurship education at the elementary school (SD) level is critical to shaping students' entrepreneurial character from an early age. The community engagement activities at Madrasah Diniyah Darul Ulum have successfully provided a fundamental understanding of entrepreneurship through a theory and practice approach involving active student participation. This approach creates an interactive and empowering learning environment. Students who were initially hesitant to speak became more confident and creative in expressing their ideas. These activities reinforce the foundation of entrepreneurial understanding and equip students with the practical skills needed to initiate and run small businesses. To enhance the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education, it is recommended to continue these activities by organising entrepreneurship fairs or business bazaars, providing a real platform for students to apply their knowledge and skills in the entrepreneurial world.

Mindfulness Overcomes Anxiety for Women Victims of the Cianjur Earthquake

The earthquake disaster that devastated Cianjur on November 21, 2022, has left various problems for the people affected by the earthquake. Not only material losses, but psychological problems also arise and are felt by survivors who face difficult situations as a result of the disaster. As a form of community service, the Faculty of Psychology at Jayabaya University Jakarta in collaboration with Putra Indonesia Cianjur University (UNPI) participates in providing psychosocial assistance for disaster survivors. Through field observations which were followed up by measuring stress levels, the results showed that it was necessary to provide training to the community with a community approach in the form of Mindfulness training. The training has been given in 8 locations with different participants from 21 December 2022 to 4 January 2023.

This research aims to implement various Kampus Mengajar programs Batch 5 in terms of improving literacy and numeracy skills at the elementary and secondary school levels. The school used as the object of placement in this study was SMP Plus Baiturrahman, located on Jalan Prof. KHM Sjadzli Hasan, Pasirwangi, Kec. Ujung Berung, Bandung City, West Java. The targets in this study were grade 8 students. The research was conducted for four months, from 20 February 2023 to 12 June 2023. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted through observation or direct observation and interviews with the school. This study's results were that various activities were carried out to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills during the assignment period for the Kampus Mengajar Program Batch 5 at Baiturrahman Plus Middle School. Some of these activities include AKM class tests, K-W-L Chart, Ular Tangga Games in learning, "Mading Berkreasi", “Be A Brilliant Writer” Activities, Siswa Berniaga, and Card Games in Statistics Learning. With these programs, it is hoped that it can improve the ability and quality of literacy and numeracy of students at SMP Plus Baiturrahman.

This service activity is carried out in a classical class using interactive and practical learning, so beside providing material on waste management, it is also followed by the practice of making compost.

Counseling on Eco Enzyme Based Organic Waste Processing for PKK village meeting hall Pesurungan Kusamba Bali. The population of Klungkung district has always increased from time to time, especially in urban areas. The increase in demand caused by the increasing population in Klungkung Regency has implications for the volume of waste disposed of. In implementing this work program, using the lecture or counseling method. Counseling using an LCD projector with the theme of my work program, namely Counseling on eco-enzyme-based organic waste processing, invited 40 PKK village meeting hall Pesurungan, Kusamba Village, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. The resource person explained material on how to process organic waste into eco enzymes and carried out the practice of making eco enzymes to get a positive response. With this extension work program they can process waste properly and correctly and they can practice directly at their respective homes to make eco-enzyme that is environmentally friendly. The specialty of eco enzyme is that it does not require large areas of land for the fermentation process such as in the composting process. Making eco enzyme is very economical in terms of processing area and can be applied at home.
