Pelatihan Penulisan Biografi Untuk Buruh Yang Terhimpun Dalam Serikat Buruh Kerakyatan (Serbuk) Kabupaten Karawang

Abstract

Community service specifically for workers is very minimal. In fact, workers are one element in society that is often considered subaltern. Although often considered subaltern, it cannot be denied that workers play a very important role in the success of development in a country. Therefore, the development of social skills of workers, in this context, namely, improving skills or abilities in managing information, and communicating, both verbally and in writing, must be held. Then in this PKM activity, the service team conducted biography writing workshop for workers who are members of the Serikat Buruh Kerakyatan (SERBUK) in Karawang Regency. The biography writing workshop for workers who are members of the Serikat Buruh Kerakyatan (SERBUK) in Karawang Regency for the service team is considered to be one of the crucial things, strategic efforts, and of course important to hold. Then, in order for this PKM to become a comprehensive PKM, in its implementation this PKM uses a workshop approach that is carried out online and offline. The results of this PKM are expected to be able to improve communication skills, both verbally and in writing in the form of an anthology of biographies from workers. In addition, the results of this PKM also include the publication of a collection of workers' biographical experiences as part of increasing the capacity of workers' organizations and organizing.
